UI/UX Blog Redesigns: Case Studies for Enhanced User Experience
Explore how strategic UI/UX design can transform blogs into engaging, user-friendly platforms. This page features three case studies showcasing blog redesigns that enhance user experience, improve readability, and drive conversions.
With over eight years of experience in SEO content marketing, I bring a unique perspective to UI/UX design. This background has honed my visual design skills and instilled a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
1. Luna Physical Therapy: Blog Article Improvement Overview
Luna, a nationwide provider of at-home physical therapy services, uses its blog to educate patients on various health conditions and drive conversions.
Luna's blog was limited by poor UX/UI design, with key content buried below the fold and a lack of interactive elements to engage users.

Key UI/UX Improvements:
Eliminated the page banner: This brought crucial content and keywords above the fold, increasing visibility and engagement.
Combined H1 and hero image: A consolidated header immediately captured user attention, provided context, and further maximized above-the-fold content.
Prioritized key takeaways: Presenting key information upfront improved user experience and encouraged faster conversion to patients.
Introduced a sticky table of contents: This enhanced navigation, improved user experience, and offered a non-intrusive call to action (CTA) for Luna's services.
Optimized text hierarchy: Implementing H2 headings and increasing font sizes improved readability and accessibility, particularly for Luna's mature target audience.
2. Kid & Coe: Enhancing the Travel Blog Experience for Moms
Kid & Coe, a boutique travel brand catering to adventurous families, faced a challenge: creating a visually engaging blog that also provided a seamless and accessible experience for their target audience — mothers in their 30s and 40s seeking family-friendly travel inspiration.
Kid & Coe's outdated blog platform hindered their ability to make crucial updates and provide a positive user experience. This negatively impacted web traffic and engagement, particularly among their target audience seeking travel information.
My proposed solution involved migrating to a user-friendly platform and redesigning the blog to showcase Kid & Coe's unique value proposition as a trusted resource for family travel.

Key UI/UX Improvements:
Optimized Hero Image for Faster Loading: Large hero images were slowing down page load times, potentially causing parents (with already limited time) to abandon the page. By optimizing image sizes, I improved site performance and ensured key content appeared above the fold.
Enhanced readability and accessibility: I increased color contrast for headings, breadcrumbs, and links to ensure optimal readability for all users, including those with visual impairments. This change makes it easier for users to navigate blog content.
Introduced breadcrumbs for seamless navigation: Breadcrumbs provide a clear path for users to navigate the blog, helping users easily find their way back to previous pages or explore related content. This also improves SEO by providing context to search engines.
Humanized the author bio to build trust and connection: I redesigned the author bio to showcase the writer’s personality and expertise, creating a more relatable and trustworthy experience for moms seeking authentic travel advice. This personal touch helps Kid & Coe stand out in a competitive travel market.
Optimized main navigation for improved user flow and conversions: I redesigned the main navigation to be more intuitive and user-friendly, with a prominent call to action (CTA) that encourages users to explore Kid & Coe's unique travel offerings. This improved user flow and helped guide visitors toward conversion points.
3. Leena AI: Optimizing the Blog Hub for Enterprise Users
Leena AI, a leading provider of automated agent software for enterprise clients like Nestle, GE, and Coca-Cola, needed a more effective blog hub to serve its diverse audience.
The goal of this redesign was to improve content organization and navigation, making it easier for enterprise users to find relevant information and resources. By optimizing the blog hub's structure and prioritizing high-performing content, I aimed to enhance user experience and drive engagement.

Key UI/UX Improvements:
Enhanced thumbnail design for improved readability: I simplified the thumbnail design to prioritize clear and concise article titles, making it easier for users to quickly scan and identify relevant content.
Implemented search functionality for efficient navigation: I added a prominent search bar to enable users to quickly find specific articles or topics within the blog hub, saving time and improving the overall user experience.
Optimized blog structure for content discoverability: I reorganized the blog hub structure to prioritize high-performing content and introduced clear categories to facilitate intuitive navigation and content discovery.
Increased content transparency with metadata: I introduced dates and author information to articles to provide context and credibility, helping users identify the most relevant and up-to-date information.
